发展 开展各种活动

　　2003年1月10日协会和北京中牧实业股份有限公司及全国机械化养猪协会在广州燕岭大厦联合举办“我国猪病发展趋势及其防治”研讨会，主要内容有：口蹄疫疫苗研究进展，母猪繁殖障碍及相关疾病的免疫，参加人数160人。

　　2003年1月20日-23日，协会和USGC组织会员参观访问省动物防疫监督总所，省兽医所，华南农业大学兽医学院，江门华业猪场，省动监局。

　　2003年2月28日协会和德国勃林格英格翰动物保健有限公司联合举办“猪病防治技术研讨会"主要内容包括，猪病控制中的疫苗使用，猪呼吸道疾病综合征的研究进展，猪伪狂犬病净化成功经验及具体方案，到会人数达200人。

　　2003年2月22日，省猪协在广州市燕岭大厦召开了第四届常务理事会，会议由吴秋豪会长主持，会议首先回顾了协会自成立以来在养猪技术推广，政府与企业沟通等方面的所作努力。同时，针对当前猪肉价格低迷，生产效益巨低不上，生产成绩直线下滑等现状，提出协会2003年的工作重点：

　　1，与美国谷物协会合作，开展猪场疾病控制与净化工作；

　　2，养猪企业导入HACCP体系的探讨与研究；

　　3，积极配合广东省农业名牌产品认定及2003国际农业博览会名牌产品检测评定活动。鼓励种猪生产，猪肉产品加工企业申报。

　　此外，协会的日常工作，如会刊出版，信息网的运营，种猪展销会的举办，国内外技术交流等一如既往地做好。

　　2003年3月23日-29日，应协会要求，美国谷物协会邀请朱汉守（Han Shou Joo)博士对我省进行了为期一周的技术访问。朱汉守博士是世界著名的预防兽医专家，来自美国明尼速达大学兽医学院。朱汉守博士的访问也是我协会即将进行的猪病净化计划的开始，协会此后将继续邀请有关专家和学者对会员单位的疾病进化作进一步的跟踪指导和服务。

On January 10th 2003, association and Beijing animal husbandry industry Limited and countrywide mechanization swine association jointly organized the "China pig disease development trend and prevention" seminar at the Yanling Plaza in Guangzhou; there are 160 persons joining the seminar and the main contents included the research progress of foot-and-mouth disease vaccine, reproductive disorders and related disorders of immune.

On January 20th 2003, association and USGC organized members to visit Institute of animal epidemic prevention and supervision, Veterinary Institute, veterinary medicine college of South China Agricultural University, Jiangmen Huaye pig farm and animal supervision bureau.
On February 28th 2003, association and German Blinger Yinggehan Animal Health Limited company held jointly " swine disease prevention technology seminar" , there were 200 persons attending the seminar and the main content includes vaccine use for pig disease control, research progress of porcine respiratory disease syndrome and purification,successful experience and specific programs of porcine pseudorabies.

On February 22nd 2003, association held the fourth session of the Standing Council at Yanling Hotel in Guangzhou, Chairman Wu Qiuha chaired the meeting and first reviewed work in the pig breeding technology promotion, government and corporate communication and other aspects since its establishment. At the same time, he put forward the key task in 2003 basing on the current low pork prices, low production efficiency and down production performance:

Firstly , cooperated with the United States Grain Association to conducted swine disease control and decontamination work;

Secondly, imported HACCP system discussion and research in swine enterprises;

Thirdly, actively participated brand evaluation activities of Guangdong Province agriculture product and the 2003 International Agricultural Fair. Encouraged breeding pig production and pork products processing enterprises declaration.

In addition, the daily work, such as journal publication,information network operators, pig fairs organization and domestic and international technology communication needed to do well as before.

On March 23th-29th 2003, association invited Zhu Hanshou (Han Shou Joo), doctor of the United States grain Association to visit Guangdong swine industry. Dr. Zhu Hanshou is a world renowned expert from the United States Preventive Veterinary Medicine. Doctor Zhu Hanshou's visit is the beginning of association’s upcoming swine purification program, and relevant experts and scholars will be continually invited on further follow-up guidance and services for the disease evolution of member units.
