　　广东省畜牧局大力支持广东省养猪行业协会的筹办工作，1992年4、5、7月，省畜牧局召集了三次有省畜牧发展总公司、食品进出口公司、广州市畜牧总公司、深圳市农业局和深圳市养猪行业协会、华南农业大学畜牧系、省畜牧研究所和珠海、佛山、东莞市畜牧公司代表参加的养猪行业协会筹备会，充分讨论研究了会章和协会的组织形式，参照国内、外同行业协会的会章，结合我省养猪行业的实际，前后三次审议协会章程，最后定稿，并向省民政厅申请成立养猪行业协会。６月２２日省民政厅批准成立本协会后，由广东省畜牧局畜牧生产处代发出召开成立大会并办理会员登记通知，至八月十六日止已申请登记入养猪协会的单位108个。

　　1992年7月20日，养猪协会筹备组决定在八月十七至十八日成立养猪行业协会。

　　会议通过了会章，选出理事会理事共109人。第一届一次理事会选举李学德任理事长（省畜牧局局长）；陈福林（省畜牧局副局长）、陈允达（省畜牧发展总公司副总经理）、郑俗通（省食品进出口总公司副总经理）、李 职（广三保养猪有限公司副总经理）、陈国 （江门篁庄猪场有限公司场长）、韦宝林（广东省顺德县畜牧总公司总经理）为副理事长；彭立人（省畜禽品种改良站站长）为秘书长；李学德、陈福林、陈允达、郑俗通、李职、陈国 、韦宝林 吴显华（华南农业大学教授）陈德强（省畜牧研究所，副所长）、彭立人、陈贤存（广州市畜牧总公司生产处处长）、林建华（深圳市农业局高级畜牧师）、梁郁均（珠海市畜牧总公司总经理）、卢钢荣（光明畜牧场副场长）、李炳坤（广东省板岭原种猪场场长）为常务理事。聘请凌伯棠、陈 白、冯卓锋、郝向前为名誉理事长；

In April, May and July of 1992, Provincial Pasturage Bureau convened three preparatory meetings for Pig industry association with representatives coming from Provincial Livestock Development Corporation, Food Import and Export Corporation, Guangzhou animal and husbandry company,Agriculture Bureau of Shenzhen and Shenzhen Pig Industry Association, South China Agricultural University animal husbandry department, Animal Husbandry Institute and Zhuhai,Foshan, Dongguan animal husbandry company, discussing the constitution and the association of organization form, with reference to the domestic, foreign industry association bylaws,and the actual of provincial swine industry; after three times review, Provincial Pasturage Bureau applied Provincial Civil Affairs Department for establishing swine industry association.On June 22nd, the provincial Civil Affairs Department approved the establishment of the association, and Guangdong Province Bureau of animal husbandry issued the notice; By August 16th, there have been 108 units to applied for registration into the Pig association.

On July 20, 1992, Pig association preparatory group decided to found Pig industry association on 17th or 18th August.

The constitution was passed and 109 members of the Council were elected in the conference. Li Xuede was elected as the director (director of Animal Husbandry Bureau); Chen Fulin (deputy director of Animal Husbandry Bureau), Chen Yunda (Deputy General Manager of Animal Husbandry Development Corporation), Zheng Sutong (Deputy General Manager of Foodstuffs Import and Export Corporation), Li zhi (deputy general manager of Guangsanbao Pig Corporation Limited), Chen Guo (director of Jiangmen Huang Zhuang pig farm Corporation Limited), Wei Baolin (General Manager of Guangdong Province Shunde County Livestock Corporation) were appointed to the vice-president; Peng Liren (Stationmaster of the provincial poultry and Livestock Improvement Station) was appointed to general secretary; Li Xuede, Chen Fulin, Chen Yunda, Zheng Sutong, Li zhi, Chen Guo, Wei Baolin, Wu Xianhua(professor of South China Agricultural University), Chen Deqiang (deputy director of the Provincial Institute of animal husbandry,), Peng Liren, Chen Xiancun (the head of Guangzhou city pasturage production), Lin Jianhua (Poultry Division of the Agriculture Bureau of Shenzhen), Liang Yujun (General Manager of Zhuhai animal husbandry company), Lu Gangrong (Deputy director of the Bright Animal Farm), Li Bingkun (Director of the Guangdong Banling Breeding Pig Farm) were appointed to the executive director. Ling Botang Chenbai, Feng Zhuofeng and Hao Xiangqian were appointed as the honorary directors in the first board election.
