Preparing work for the construction of Breeding Pig Testing Center

Zhou Kaizhong, vice director of market and economic information department of Ministry of agriculture,
and Xie Yuexin, head of provincial agriculture department, provided guidance for the construction of
breeding pig testing center of Ministry of agriculture in 1998.

　　1994年6月协会召开常务理事会，决议将省种猪测定中心的地址确定建在广州市天河区柯木塱伍家山，并得到了省计委及省财厅的拨款支持，共投入35万元。在测定站的筹建过程中，协会的会员十分重视这一工作，提出了许多宝贵的建议及支持。1995年8月，我会又作了《关于给资助广东省种猪测定中心建设者设立石碑名录的决议》。为表彰资助省种猪测定中心建设的单位和人士，以广东省养猪行业协会常务理事会名义，给予个人资助100元(含100元)以上、单位资助1000元(含1000元)以上者立碑铭记，永留芳名(按资助金额由大到小次序排列，资助实物金额效用相同。资助100元以下的个人、1000元以下的单位，记入纪念册表彰。决议发出后，截至1995年11月底止，共收到捐款334646元，其中单位捐款315600元，个人捐款19046元。香港养猪同行也参加了这次捐款活动。

In June 1994, association held standing council and confirmed Longdong Kemulang Wujiashan as the breeding pig testing center, and obtained funding support, totally RMB350,000 from Provincial Planning Commission and the provincial finance department. In the planning process of stations, association members attached great importance to this work and put forward a lot of valuable advice and support. In August 1995, "Resolution of establishing tone tablet for the individuals funding to breeding pig testing center construction" was passed. For recognizing the units and individuals funding to provincial breeding pig testing center construction,Guangdong Province Pig Industry Association executive council made a momentum in mind for individuals funding RMB100 (including RMB100) above, units funding RMB1000 (including RMB1000) (according to the amount of assistance from big to small order), write in the book award for the individuals funding RMB100 and unites funding RMB1000.Donation of RMB334,646(including RMB315,600 from unites and RMB19,046 from individuals) had been received since the resolution issued to end of November 1995.Moreover, Hongkong Pig industry also attended the donation.
