The completion ceremony of Breeding Pig Testing Center

　　1996年1月18日9时省农业厅为广东省种猪测定中心场址举行落成典礼。省农业厅副厅长欧阳坦主特并致辞，农业部畜牧兽医司司长贾幼陵，省农办书记冯灼锋 ，省农业厅厅长洪绍宏，省科委主任谢明权，华南农业大学校长骆世明 ，香港畜禽业联会和香港猪会，美国饲料谷物协会和美国大豆协会，六个省市的100多个养猪场共400多名同仁到会参加揭幕式和种猪展销活动。广东省种猪测定中心是广省计委立项，省编委定编的事业机构。该中心由省畜禽品种改良站建设，于1996年1月建成正式投入使用。首届“中心”主任：彭立人 高级畜牧师。副主任：张国杭 畜牧师。 工作人员：杨浩 畜牧师、刘小红硕士。

全国首家省种猪测定中心和种猪拍卖场
In 1995, Guangdong province pig industry association built the first provincial
breeding pig testing center and the place of breeding pig auction with the
provincial animal husbandry bureau.

On January 18th, 1996, Guangdong agriculture department held opening ceremony for pig testing center. Ouyang Tan, Deputy director general of provincial agriculture department, host and delivered a speech, Jia Youling(director of vet and pasturage Department of Ministry of agriculture), Feng Zhuofeng(province farming office, secretary), Hong Shaohong(director general of province agriculture department), Xie Mingquan(director of province committee of science and technology), Luo Shiming(South China Agricultural University,president), Hongkong livestock industry association and Hongkong swine association, the United States grain association and American Soybean Association, and over 400 colleagues from over 100 pig farm in six provinces and cities, participated in the opening ceremony and swine marketing activities. Guangdong Province Swine Testing Center was re-built on provincial poultry and livestock improvement station and formally put to use in January 1996. The first "center" director: Peng Liren, advanced poultry division. Deputy director: Zhang Guohang, poultry division. Staff: Yang Hao, poultry division, master Liu Xiaohong.
