广东省养猪行业协会十年努力取得骄人成绩，为协会和广东养猪业今后的发展奠定了坚实的基础

Guangdong Pig Industry Association has made remarkable achievements by making great efforts during the first ten years, which laid a solid foundation for the future of association and development of Guangdong Pig Industry

　　十年间，省养猪协会配合政府畜牧部门组织了多次养猪政策、发展规划研讨会，每年举办二到三次经验交流会，每月举办一到二次技术专题讲座或新产品试验与应用报告会，办了猪种选育与种猪测定、企业管理、企业经营、产品市场策略、兽医诊断、饲料配方、计算机的应用等20多期培训班，织了90多人次到欧、美、亚、大洋四大洲，共15个国家考察养猪业或技术培训；与多个省市和海外同行举办了五期学术研讨；接待了来访的十多个国家和地区的相关行业考察团或政府部门考察团。

　　十年间，全省审定了19个原种猪场，7个一级种猪场，200多个二级种猪场；共举办了12期种猪测定, 共测定种猪1569头,将达到特优级的700多头公猪投入社会开展品种改良；1999、2001年度的两届中国农业博览会上分别获得21、33个种猪名牌产品。我省开始全面推行健康与卫生合格猪场的标准化建设，推广ISO900认证。东莞塘厦、中山白石和东莞金皇叁家猪企业通过了国家ISO认证；开始全面开展种猪选育，培育自己的种猪，“光明猪”配套系 、“深农猪”配套系成功问世。

In the past ten years, association organized a number of seminars regarding pig policy and development planning with animal husbandry department, held experience communication meeting 2-3 times every year, held 1-2 times technical seminar or new product test and application report meeting monthly, ran over 20 period training classes regarding pig breeding and determination,enterprise management, product market strategy, veterinary diagnostic, feed formula, the application of computer and etc., sent more than 90 trips to totally 15 states in Europe, America, Asia and oceans continents to know pig industry and attend technical training;held five seminars with a number of provinces and cities and overseas counterparts; and received visiting of the relevant industry or government delegation from a dozen countries and regions.

In the past ten years, 19 breeding pig farms, 7 class A breeding pig farms and more than 200 class B breeding pig farms were authorized; association held 12 times of pig determination, and totally 1569 pigs were determined, in which 700 premium-class boar pigs were put into social for breed improvement; in 1999 and 2001, association received 21 and 33 kinds of pig brand products respectively in China Agricultural Fair. From then on, Guangdong began to fully implement standardization construction of health and hygiene farm and promote ISO9000 certification. Dongguan Tangxia, Zhongshan Baishi and Dongguan Jinhuang passed national ISO certification and began to carry out pig breeding and cultivate their own pigs, "bright pig" supporting system and "deep farming Pig" supporting system came out successfully.
