Promotion of artificial insemination technique

　　1996年7月下旬，协会卫生防疫部与美国谷物饲料协会在广州燕领大厦举办了150多人参加的“猪的疾病防治与人工授精技术研讨会”。该年年会，协会确定种猪选育、人工授精、健康猪群等项技术为本会养猪企业的经济增长点。1997年7月14～19日，协会与美国谷物饲料协会共同举办猪育种系列培圳。1998年5月15日，种猪测定中心与广州市农牧渔业局畜牧处，在广州市种猪精液中心召开广东省人工授精技术推广会。来自美国、香港、台湾及我省的专家、学者，全省各大种猪场的技术骨干120多人到会。此后，协会也多次组织会员到国外考察学习先进人工授精技术，在国内也多次组织人工授精技术交流培训会。至2002年，全省建立起了17家猪人工授精站，有100多个猪场全面开展猪人工授精。极大地促进了我省生猪人工授精技术的推广，为我省养猪业作出了不可磨灭的贡献。

人工授精技术培训 Artificial insemination technique training

In late July 1996, health and epidemic prevention department of association and the United States grain Association held "swine disease control and artificial insemination technology seminar" in Guangzhou Yanling Plaza, and over 150 people attended.Association confirmed pig seed selection, identification, artificial insemination, healthy pigs technology as the economic growth point of pig enterprises in the annual meeting. In July 14th-19th 1997, association and American grain association jointly held pig breeding series training. On May 15th 1998, pig testing center and animal husbandry department of Guangzhou Bureau of farming, herd and fishery held artificial insemination technology promotion meeting in Guangzhou breeding pig semen center. More than 120 experts and scholars from the United States, Hongkong, Taiwan and the provincial major breeding farms presented at the meeting.Thereafter, the association also repeatedly organized members to study abroad to learn advanced techniques of artificial insemination, and organized the artificial insemination technology communication meeting in domestic. By 2002, 17 pig artificial insemination stations had been built, and more than 100 farms carried out a comprehensive artificial insemination, which greatly promoted pig artificial insemination technology and made an indelible contribution to provincial swine industry.
