　　从早期的种猪展销会，到现在的全国影响力最大甚至闻名全球猪业的养猪产业博览会

　　1994年4月29日，在东莞市圹下、大岭山两个猪场，由协会时任秘书长彭立人主持，成功地举行了全省也是全国首次的种猪现场拍卖活动。来自全省40多个猪场的代表以及养猪业的专家、教授近百人参加首次种猪拍卖活动。

　　1996年1月16日的年会上，协会决议，今后每年6月18日、12月18日定为广东种猪展销日。

　　早期的种猪展销会，经过协会几届同仁十多年的努力，现在已发展成为国内最具影响力之一的养猪产业博览会。其规模不断扩大，目前展位已增加至310多个，参展企业两百多家，即便如此，每一届的展位仍然是供不应求，现在博览会不仅吸引了全国各地的养猪同仁前来参观，而且也吸引了不少国外同行慕名前来。博览会举办十多年来，坚持共同推进养猪产业健康、持续发展的宗旨，坚持专业精神和服务理念，在保留优良传统的基础上，不断推陈出新，为广东养猪人提供了一个技术交流和信息服务良好平台，为提升养猪产业整体素质做出了巨大努力。

In April 29th 1994, according to the pig market situation and member’s proposal, the first site pig auction activity chaired by association secretarygeneral Peng Liren was held successfully in Dongguan Kuangxia and Daling Shan pig farms. This activity attracted more than 40 farms representatives and nearly a hundred people from swine industry experts, professors;Followed, the second breeding pig site auctions was held in annual meeting in Shenzhen breeding pig farm in November 1994.

On January 16th 1996, association determinate to take June 18th and December 18th as Guangdong pig sale date in the annual meeting.

Early pig fair has become pig industry exposition currently, which has national influence after dozens years development. Fair scale unceasingly expands, and its stand has been increased to 310, exhibitors more than 200, even so, each booth is still in short supply. Exposition was held more than 10 years, insisting to jointly promote healthy and sustainable development of the swine industry, insisting the concept of professionalism and service, and constantly bringing forth the new through the old; it provided a good platform for technical communication and information services, and made great effort on enhancing the overall quality of the pig industry.
